Staying active and healthy after 50!

Can you stay active and athletic during this time often plagued by the physical and emotional discomforts associated with menopause? I can\’t! Staying healthy during this time ,is an effective way to eliminate or at least minimize these problems. And being healthy and cool. If you haven\’t played much sports in the past, it\’s time to get moving! At this age, the risk of gaining weight is high! You don\’t need to run long distances right away or “break records” at the gym. Take your time and go “one step at a time. The key is to choose an activity that you enjoy. And do it regularly for a long time. This is the only way to achieve the desired effect. What to focus on?

Eat enough!
If you are a big fan of moving and don\’t want to move, you must think about simply not moving and limiting your food intake. That way, they will not gain weight because their energy intake will be reduced. So beware! This is a big mistake! Starving yourself is not a solution to anything. And many people have tried it, which eventually leads to yo-yo effects, weight gain, nervousness, and irritability. On the other hand, those who are moving can afford to eat something sweet to “wrap their nerves” and to feel better!

Walk!
If you haven\’t “done” much to exercise yet, it\’s best to start with the most natural thing you can do. Walk as much as you can to and from work and shopping. Every step is good! Also, take walks in nature and gradually increase the distance. Your dog is a good partner for this. The owner usually gets enough exercise!

Add sports!

Once you have gained a bit of fitness, add an appropriate sport. Experts recommend doing endurance sports. For example, jogging, swimming (or underwater aerobics), cycling (or treadmill). Choosing the right sport for “us” is, of course, highly individualized. We all have different preferences, abilities, and potential. However, each of us has the opportunity to “incorporate” some form of exercise into our lives!
