Dwarf Records - Home Page

Dwarf Records emerged briefly from the gloom that is the home of the true underground label in 1994 to release the critically acclaimed "Cultured Palate" E.P. The record was distributed by Newcastle based Voiceprint. The record featured former Only Ones leader Peter Perrett and his band The One.

Steve Brickle who at that time also managed Peter had formed the label. The release was put out on a shoestring (a video was shot for a thousand pounds…it worked it was shown on MTV! The publicist walked around barefoot such were the budgetary constraints.) Melody Maker blessed it with "Record of the Week".

Flushed with such success on its very first outing Dwarf retreated into the underground, waiting for the right time to re-emerge with an equal offering, "Peter Perrett..Live".
